Stéphanie JamesShakti Productions Dear Stéphanie: We would like to request your valuable work LE MOZART NOIR A CUBA for our screening series at Videoteca del Sur in New York and from Havana, Cuba, and Central America. Founded in 1989 in New York City, Videoteca del Sur is non-for profit organization dedicated to the distribution, promotion and dissemination of Latin American film and videos. Videoteca del Sur’s program runs at Millennium Film Workshop, a film arts and community membership organization that was founded in 1966.
Since 2001, we have a branch in Havana, Cuba where we work with ICAIC, Cuban Film Institute. Our program at Multicines Infanta, consists on a weekly event that also includes a film discussion with intellectuals and experts on film. In Costa Rica, we present our film series at Café Teatro Sala Calle 15, in San Jose.
