Abstracts are invited for an edited volume entitled World War II and The West Indies. This book will highlight the role that West Indian territories played as colonial entities in the Second World War and the major consequences of the war within these areas. It will explore themes relating to the impact on the societies, economies, women and imperialism.
Les résumés sont attendus pour un recueil intitulé World War II and The West Indies. Ce livre mettra en évidence le rôle que les territoires antillais a joué comme des entités coloniales dans la seconde guerre mondiale et les principales conséquences de la guerre au sein de ces zones. Il explorera les thèmes concernant l’impact sur les sociétés, les économies, les femmes et l’impérialisme.
Abstracts pertaining to The Lesser Antilles and the Spanish West Indies would be particularly appreciated.
Résumés portant sur les petites Antilles et les Antilles espagnol seraient particulièrement appréciées.
