Piano playing is an integral part of music culture and, like any other form of art, is a source of self- realization and spiritual development, taste training. Piano music has always had its admirers from across the world and amateur piano playing exists on equal terms with other forms of musical art. And all of us who play the piano just for our love of music keep this remarkable tradition – even staying outside the professional music society.
It is an outstanding and important event for every musician to perform in Saint-Petersburg. The city on the banks of the Neva river is most attractive in July, when so called White Nights can be observed. We really hope that taking part in the « Piano Bridges » competition would be an opportunity for you to gain experience, to become well-known to our audience and to be inspired for your future work.
